How do you adjust a newborn or toddler?

We use very gentle, specific techniques when adjusting children. For newborns, we use light fingertip pressure — about the same as you’d use to test the ripeness of a tomato. For toddlers, we may use our hands or a handheld integrator tool, always ensuring safety and comfort.

Do you do manual adjustments or twisting?

Not in our office. We use instrument-assisted and drop-table adjustments, which are gentler alternatives to traditional manual manipulation. Our patients love the comfort and effectiveness of our method.

What is a drop table?

A drop table has built-in sections that gently lower when an adjustment is made. It allows us to use gravity and motion to help realign the spine with minimal force — it’s safe, comfortable, and especially useful for low back and pelvic adjustments.

What can I expect at my first visit?

Will I get adjusted on the first day?

In most cases, adjustments begin on the second visit. This gives your doctor time to review exam findings and develop the best plan for your care. Occasionally, adjustments may happen on the first day based on your case and comfort level.

How long is a typical visit?

Your initial appointment usually takes about 45–60 minutes. Follow-up visits are quicker — most adjustments take just 5 to 10 minutes.

Not always. X-rays are recommended only when clinically necessary to ensure safe and effective care. We never take X-rays on pregnant patients.

Can I bring my kids with me to my appointment?

Yes! We love when families come together. Children are always welcome in our office, whether they’re being adjusted or just tagging along.
